Anthony Guerra, the owner & pizzaiolo, and I both grew up in Long Island and had the same pizza shop memories which we channelled into Pizza Box, with a Raleigh touch. Located in an old diner on Person street, the worn checkered floors and burnt brick walls (from a previous fire) gave us everything we needed to bring this new staple to life.  Our pizza box monster and his pizza box’s are a nod to the greasy-joystick arcade game in each of our childhood haunts.
