Welcome to Barbecue Paradise. Chef Jake Wood started Lawrence Barbecue as a pop up with some killer design work from pal Luke Woody.

When it came time to dock in to the brick & mortar location, we evolved the brand to bring in more of what makes Jake and his team so special in the world of NC barbecue: a hang loose, stay stoked but stay focused, highest quality and lowest brow, free wheelin’ good time spot to get the best grindz.

After Lawrence, we designed and opened Lagoon, a leisure bar located above Lawrence in their home at RTP’s Boxyard. Larry Says Relax.
